WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

Seeking a highly skilled professional with in-depth knowledge of the OpenText Captiva platform, responsible for providing expert guidance on document capture, data extraction, workflow design, and system optimization, assisting clients in implementing and maximizing the potential of the software to meet their specific business needs; acting as a key consultant to troubleshoot complex issues, train users, and ensure accurate data capture processes within HSBC. This role requires the candidate to be able to analyze client workflows and document types to identify areas for improvement and potential automation through Captiva. The individual filling this role must also be able to collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and design optimal capture solutions. Additionally, they should be able to present technical solutions to stakeholders, explaining complex concepts in clear, understandable terms.

This role requires the candidate to work at least partially aligned with Central Daylight Time (CDT, GMT-5) business hours in the US

, to collaborate effectively with internal US business partners, provide timely troubleshooting support, maintain business continuity, and ensure confidentiality of information. The user experience and consulting provided through this aligned presence cannot be fully replicated through offshore interactions..

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• Proven experience with OpenText Captiva platform, including advanced knowledge of data extraction techniques, workflow design, and system administration.
• Firm understanding of document management end-to-end to be able to help design and help with process engineering.
• Proficiency in .NET / Java / J2EE, SQL / PostgresSQL, and scripting languages
• The ability to understand client business needs and translate them into effective Captiva solutions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience working in an agile environment using the latest DevOps tools.
• Experience working within a large Global Enterprise IT environment.
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors.
