We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

IT Senior Portfolio Analyst

to support the effective planning, execution, governance, and financial oversight of our global IT project portfolio. Reporting to the IT Portfolio Manager, this role will play a significant role in ensuring portfolio clarity, data accuracy, and reporting.

What will you be doing?

  • Portfolio Reporting : Generate accurate, timely dashboards and portfolio reports using tools and data provided to support decision-making at all levels.
  • Data Integrity : Ensure project and portfolio data is accurate, complete, consistent, and aligned with internal standards; perform regular checks and collaborate with Business Relationship Managers to improve data quality.
  • Planning : Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and IT Portfolio Manager to support forecasting, reconciliation of actuals, budget planning, and cost control.
  • Tool & Process Optimization : Support continuous improvements of the tools and processes for the Demand management, ensuring alignment with the governance needs and recommending, supporting, and delivery of automation of manual processes.
  • Process governance : Support the portfolio calendar and recurring review cycles (QBRs, checkpoints, budget reviews), ensuring timely data preparation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with the PMO, PDMS, Finance, and IT teams to ensure shared understanding of priorities, timelines, and requirements. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing portfolio data integrity, generating actionable reports, coordinating forecasting cycles, contributing to the continuous improvement of tools and ways of working, all while ensuring financial constraints are adhered to. Also help drive adoption of Lean Portfolio Management practices and ensure decisions are underpinned by timely, actionable insights.

What will you need to be successful?

  • 4–6+ years of experience in IT Portfolio Management, PMO, business analysis, or financial planning roles
  • Bachelor's degree in management, IT, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in using ServiceNow or similar PPM tools for reporting, data governance, and portfolio analysis.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle, IT investment governance, and financial tracking (forecast vs. actuals).
  • Experience supporting Lean Portfolio Management principles and tools is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Certifications in Portfolio Management and / or Agile frameworks (nice to have)
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, business sense, and a deep understanding of IT project and portfolio management practices.
