Job Description

By supporting manual and automated testing efforts the Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and quality of Lens Desktop , the world’s most popular IDE for Kubernetes developers, trusted by over 700,000 DevOps professionals globally. Lens continues to evolve as a cutting‑edge platform, empowering users with powerful features and seamless workflows that enhance their Kubernetes experience. This role goes beyond executing test cases : you will take ownership of scalable test automation, BDD practices, and QA process optimisation, while fostering collaboration across Product, Development, and QA. Your work will directly impact the stability, reliability, and user experience of Lens Desktop.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation & BDD

Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework with Playwright as the primary tool.

Experience with managing and maintaining test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray), ensuring traceability between user stories, manual test cases, and automated tests.

Conduct exploratory testing and risk‑based analysis, focusing on critical workflows and system stability.
