As Data Lead

your main objective will be to drive the development and execution of innovative data and analytics products and strategies for our

Commerce initiatives

  • . You will collaborate closely with cross-divisional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key touchpoint between Data Team and the Business, playing a role of pro-active data business partner & data usage evangelist for the area of Commerce, being an expert on 1P, 2P & 3P data based solutions, especially concerning sell-in, sell-out, stock-in-trade, distribution or other commercial KPI
  • Connect business needs with international or local portfolio of products, fostering the activation, adoption and care
  • Be the local Commerce Data & Analytics referral within the international community (dotted line to zone Domain Lead)
  • Analyze functional requirements, translate them into technical & functional specifications, develop corresponding analytics solutions or models, if needed build MVPs and POCs with Data Factory. Propose technically sound and sustainable solutions.
  • Help business with ad hoc analytics, helping to answer business questions

    Identify, manage, and utilize structured and unstructured data, considering information distribution policies and security standards.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, business development, operations) to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear and concise summaries, presentations, and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Participate in Project Planning & Performance Management by defining the business case, cost model, and objectives. Define, monitor, and manage project plans, budgets, KPIs.

  • Drive continuous improvement & knowledge sharing by staying current with analytics trends and best practices to improve service delivery and share knowledge within the team.
  • Facilitate divisional Commerce Data Champions community, sharing best practices or discussing issues
  • Build proper documentation & quality assurance according to defined standards

  • Requirements

  • Understanding business is crucial, understanding or experience with Cosmetics Market complexity will be an extremely important added value
  • A passion for data and a desire to use it to drive business impact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical or data base concepts to non-technical / non-data audiences is critical
  • Data visualization tools knowledge (PowerBI usage experience & understanding way of working is a must, ability to build is a value added)
  • Knowledge of data analytical tools (Excel is a must, Python, R nice to have added value)
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Project Management skills along with Stakeholders management will be vital
