Role Overview

The Databricks Engineer / Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks. The role involves building robust data pipelines, implementing data governance frameworks, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of analytical environments. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a passion for modern data platforms and business value creation through analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines in Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, Python).
• Architect and optimize data lakehouse environments, ensuring scalability and data quality.
• Integrate data sources across the Azure ecosystem (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, Event Hub).
• Develop and enforce data governance, metadata management, and lineage tracking standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to enable self‑service analytics.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform / Bicep), and monitoring for data workloads.
