Duties And Responsibilities

The AEAA conducts training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of PAF maintenance

personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15Y AH-64D / E Armament / Electrical / Avionic System Repairer.

Supervises inspections, maintenance and modifications according to directives, technical manuals, and safety

procedures on the AH-64D / E armament, electrical and avionics systems and cryptographic equipment to include the

electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneudraulics systems associated with AH-64D / E Armament / Missile Fire

Control Systems. Tests, troubleshoots and repairs test sets and diagnostic equipment. Maintains records on weapons

and subsystems. Supervises operator maintenance on common and special tools. Prepares aircraft related maintenance

forms and records. Additionally, advises PAF unit maintainers in AH-64D / E techniques and procedures on all aspects

of loading / unloading / inspecting weapon systems, utilizing Launcher Test Sets / AWM101A / B, and troubleshooting

armament systems.

Minimum Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be previously qualified as an AH-64D / E Armament / Electrical / Avionics Repairer (15Y).
• Must have at least ten (10) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience performing or supervising AH-64D / E maintenance requiring the skills of a 15Y.
• Must have previous experience as an AH-64D / E TI
• Must be capable of providing expert-level technical mentorship.
• Highly desired : AH-64Ev6 previous maintenance experience.
• Previous Security Assistance Team experience is desired.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
