Global Operational Risk Management Expert

You will own the Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework for the Securities Services business across the assigned country(ies). Reporting to senior risk leadership, you will independently design, implement and maintain a first‑line‑of‑defence risk programme that aligns with Group policies, support local risk analysts, and provide clear risk opinions to International Senior Management. As the face of the RISK ORM function in the region, you will drive strategic risk dialogue with country management, contribute to governance committees, and champion a strong risk culture through best‑practice sharing and training.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in operational risk management within the financial services sector and with exposure to multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to design, implement and sustain an operational risk framework in line with Group‑wide policies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; capable of delivering concise risk opinions to senior international stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills – able to establish strategic dialogue with country‑level senior management and to represent the risk function in governance forums.
• Demonstrated track record of promoting best practices and developing risk‑management strategies across a risk community.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 / C1) Fluency in French or Italian would be considered a plus.
• Proficiency with data‑analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and risk‑management software.
• University degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Law or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, ICAAR) are a plus but not mandatory.
