About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Aerospace Software Engineer with a strong focus on algorithms to join our team at AP-Tech. In this role, you will take part in designing and implementing advanced algorithmic solutions that power aviation systems. Your work will involve solving complex problems in data fusion, prediction, routing, and image processing, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and innovation of aviation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize algorithms for data fusion, routing, prediction, and image processing
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define requirements and technical solutions
• Build scalable and efficient code for integration into aviation systems
• Implement backend features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Contribute to the design and development of system architecture and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards

Recruitment Process

An introduction to AP-Tech and the specific team. The candidate has the opportunity to ask questions. A few questions about previous experience and motivation for applying are also covered.

A deeper discussion focused on the candidate’s skills and knowledge relevant to the role. This may include practical exercises, case studies, or situational questions, depending on the position.

For some roles, a short assignment may be provided to complete at home, typically requiring 2–3 hours. This allows candidates to demonstrate their problem-solving approach and work style.

An additional meeting to explore AP-Tech’s culture and values, and to ensure alignment with the company’s vision.

After completing all stages, the candidate receives clear feedback and information about the next steps.
