    • About the project

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to join a project for a global technology company delivering SaaS-based Treasury and Liquidity Management solutions. The company supports some of the world’s largest enterprises by providing tools for cash management, risk control, and financial system integration.

    Your responsibilities

  • Administration and maintenance of Oracle databases (Postgres experience is a plus)
  • Supporting Java applications in their integration with databases
  • Execution plan analysis and SQL query performance tuning
  • Designing and managing database sharding / partitioning
  • Backup and recovery using RMAN and / or pgdump
  • Collaborating with developers and architects to optimize application performance

    • Our requirements

  • 12 years of experience as a DBA (Oracle, with Postgres as a strong plus)
  • Solid understanding of core DBA concepts : administration, optimization, security\
  • Strong knowledge of how Java applications connect to databases and how Java frameworks (e.g., JPA) manage persistence
  • Experience as an Applicative DBA (query optimization, tuning, monitoring)

    • Optional

  • Big advantage if you have : experience with Postgres, familiarity with JBoss / Wildfly, EclipseLink / TopLink
